MORNING COMMUTE

Although I hated getting up at 5 in the morning, one of the many things I will miss about working at PFA is seeing the sunrise a few days a week. It is just one of the more pleasing things in the world. I always keep my camera next to me while I am driving, but usually am not so successful at the drive by shooting method. Luckily this day there was snow on the ground, so traffic was moving pretty slow. I actually had a chance to look through the viewfinder for a shot.

LAST CLASSES

I'm going to miss my students. The next few posts may be dedicated to them because after next week, I'll be done teaching.... but hopefully not forever.

RAW OYSTERS

Today I took one picture....of an oyster. I didn't even load it to the computer. If it looks even slightly worthwhile, I will post it. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually like raw oysters.
Any way, this shot was from Friday's trip to Tyler. There is always some visual fun when moving an art school.

MORNING/EVENING-FRIENDS/FAMILY

Technically, both of these were shot on Saturday, although the first one was kind of Friday night. I got to hang out with John and Anne, their two cats, and the full room sized Christmas tree they named "Gertha". They will have pine needles from that tree living in the room for years to come, that is if they can actually get it out of the house. I think I have talked these two into blogging with me. In the picture, John is creating his blog in which HE WILL post many of his wonderful photographs. Anne is going to write and take pictures, and hopefully they will collaborate on some tasty reading/viewing projects for us all to see. Is that putting on too much pressure?
Saturday night, after a little cleaning, and some fun discussion time, I sat down and played Apples to Apples with my wife and kids. I only took this one picture, so that's what you get!

TYLER

I had the opportunity to tour Tyler's new Main Campus (Temple University) home. It was VERY different from the Tyler I know. or remember. The whole building is still under construction...at least the interior finishing touches. It is still quite impressive though, to say the least.

SQUISHY

I pulled out my lens baby the other night, and took it to school with me. They are nothing wonderful, but I took pictures with the old squishy lens throughout the day. It was very cold, but I took the class outside to get them shooting a bit before I depart their company.

Wii FIT

We all played a bit today. Kind of a sad attempt a doing something interesting with the pictures, but I did exercise, sort of.

E.S.P.

My head hurt for the better part of the day, so I am posting an old image that I just did some work on.
