These are my hands.....well, no they are not my hands, they are Eli's hands, but they are my hands......Yeah, mine are a bit older, and a little pudgier, but there is no denying that these are my hands.

No, I am not making a statement on gun control... Eve and I had a "Dad's night out" at her preschool/church tonight. An innocent game of squirt the bathtub boat turned into squirt Dad. I can't blame her, I think I squirted first. At least she was nice enough to not squirt the camera.
Chaya got to bring her classrom pet, a stuffed animal(dog) named Max, home for the weekend. Max went to a birthday party, and slept over Moma and Bumpa's (my parents)house.

Jonah is so creative. He likes to save everything because it can, at some point be used to make something. I love this. I am just now remembering that I used to save everything for Eli when he was younger...old radios, tv's, wood, etc. He didn't quite have the patience that Jonah does. He needed a little more immediate gratification, so he never did too much with the stuff, and focused more on drawing and video. I am thinking jonah could make great things given some interesting supplies. I'll have to start looking at the trash a little more closely. Here is a "rocket" Jonah made today out of some readily available supplies.
Chaya has been having some trouble verbalizing lately. She has been growling and making raspberrys(fart noises as Jonah would say) as a passive aggressive way to avoid doing jobs, answering questions, etc....I hope this is a quickly passing phase.
"Jay" as he now likes to call himself bleached his hair all by himself this week.
Um, yeah....her birthday was in December, but we are just now having a party. This was a party for Eli as well, but he couldn't make it.
Sometimes the light is trapped behind tangled overgrowth....
and sometimes, when you think there is not enough light, it reveals something great.
Since I spent most of the weekend with the kids, today was a workday. Here are some of my favorite images from the wedding I was working on today.
Jonah's car started out as a sword, but I think we ended up with a dagger. It was still a cool design in my opinion. It was a semi fast car. He won one race (yeah, his was the only car in the heat, but he won) and got second in a few. No trophies for Jonah. Oh well. We had a good time. Jonah is planning for next year!
The Gran Prix is tomorrow. We are all a little behind on completing our cars. I did my best to help Chaya, Jonah and some friends sand, paint and assemble their cars. I could really use a nice set of power tools. An orbital sander can only do so much to a block of wood.
Later in the day Josiah had some friends over(see Dalissa's entry today) and I made Cheesesteaks. I spent a better part of the evening discussing what was concidered acting "gay" and what was not. Ahhh, Junior High. 
Note to Self....Go back and take a good picture of this. Odd...they built the road right on the front doorstep of this house. Things that make you go hmmmm.
