Today is Memorial Day, and I did not take any pictures....well, it is my day off. I'll use this space to highlight a hardworking fellow professional. This is Dave from DVideography. He definitely goes the extra mile to get a good shot. Here he had his coworker Steve strap him to the golf bag rack of a golf cart so he could film D&J taking a ride. I always enjoy working with Dave!

Today was spent, for the most part, at the Charter School. I spent the first half taking pictures for the yearbook. It has become my job to shoot all of the teachers, and all of the kids who don't have pictures from picture day (or some who just prefer my pictures in the book). I love doing this, an feel like I am contributing something to the "collaborative" school. I won't post any of these shots...there are too many, and I can't pull just a few. The second part of the day was spent with Jonah's class on their field trip to a local Japanese restaurant. They have been studying Japanese culture, and have had quite a few enjoyable field trips. Here is his class being entertained by the chef as he cooks........

Today we went to a birthday party for a friend. A big attraction was the pinata. As always, there was a natural progression of the pinata process.....
"I'm gonna hit it really hard and candy will fly out!"
"Hey, look, candy is flying out!"
"Hey, I didn't get any candy!"

TEMPTATIONS

I have been really eating nothing but salads for the past couple of weeks. Something about being home alone at 11:00 at night made me hungry. I couldn't resist the allure of a bacon, cheddar, bluecheese, jalapeno burger and a beer. As I was cooking, I realized there was temptation going on all around me. We all live with temptation, some of us are weak.
Come to the dark side!
