Your title intrigues me as this is a word I have been meditating on for a number of years (in relation to John 15:5).
Frankly, the image captures fairly well what my 'abiding' feels like these days.
Thanks for the reference Kat. That facet of the word was actually part of why I chose it. I also posted another shot from the same setting, but am using the word BIDE. basically the same meaning, but for me a different feeling. Both are about the waiting, and persevering, but I see abide relating more to what you do in relation to another, or influenced by another and bide would maybe be something you do for yourself, or by yourself. Am I thinking about this too much?
