Since it is just now midnight, I am going to sneak another post in....It was just funny, after spending some rime outside, everyone had to connect to their various screens.
Some Madden and a nice bugger.
WOW
Sharing the Princess game.
And this is what can happen if you stay in front of the screen too long!

How do you make the picture curved? The "blue light" effect is cool.

I loved these pictures - especially the last one! I'll have to show it to my guys and warn them that they, too, will turn blue from staring too long into their various screens. Uh-oh...I guess I should take the warning, too! =)

Jonah's on WoW, huh? He looks like he's playing an undead character...what server?
(Is it pathethic that I had to know? ;P)

These were all shot with a fisheye lens. This used to be a nice lens, but because the glass is rounded and sticks out, it has become scrathced over time, and makes a hazy glow throughout. I just use it for fun right now.

Jess-Yes, Jonah bought the trial version just after Christmas. He has about 5 charaters right now, and one is undead. Josiah has been playing a bit as well...he prefers the undead characters. I played a bit the week after Christmas, when I took some time off, but can't bring myself to start playing at 2 or 3 in the morning when I stop working. Plus, I have been spending the spare time I have taking pictures! In a good way!

Jess-What do you mean by server? Do you mean realm, or is there a whole other facet to this I am missing? call me a noob (is that right?).

You're right, server and realm are the same thing. As for getting into the game, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone at this point unless I had a venda against them. It sucks you and it is so hard to manage. I spent half my time preparred to cut it out of my life completely, I'm just trying different methods to see if I can have my cake and eat it too. So I agree, time spent in picture taking is MUCH better spent!

P.S. I find the undead gross ;)

Mine is a cute gnome woman with red hair I named heatmizer. I think I'll avoid the undead. I truely don't have time to get sucked into this. I am impressed with myself that I have not been on it all week, and I don't care that much. I stayed up a few nights really long, and can see the addictiveness. It was a nice distraction, and gave the boys and I something to bond over a bit. The game is installed on my laptop, so that limits their possible use conciderably. Jonah could easily spend all of his time playing if that was possible.

I liked it well enough until about level 20, that's when the addictiveness really settled in. Before that, I was thinking it wasn't worth the money.

Jeff, I just wanted to say somewhere how much I enjoyed your professional site. You are an amazing artist. I love the photo of the bride in the car with the groom in the reflection of the halfway down window. Wow!!

You really capture people as they are and in all their personality. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
