SCHOOL'S (ALMOST) OUT FOR SUMMER

USING THE STUDIO

Barry and Allison (I photographed their wedding a number of years ago)wanted some simple studio portraits with their two beautiful little girls. This was my inspiration to straighten up the shooting area in the barn. I usually prefer to shoot environmental sessions, but sometimes a nice studio shot is refreshing classic alternative. After our session inside, we broke out some bubbles for a few relaxed shots outside (I couldn't resist).

I finally got a sort of studio set up in the barn, and asked J to sit for some test shots. J is always a joker, but he rarely smiles for a picture, at least for me.

Yeah.... All I know is today was a rainy day, and I stayed inside. I can't wait until this rain stops and people start mowing their lawns. Not to mention mowing my own lawn. Is it possible for an eyeball to actually pop.
