DUEL
No, it's not fencing. The third floor was host to some "friendly" simultaneous guitar playing. Too bad for Josiah,Eli has a much larger amp. "Ariels" sounded great though!
I like the shallow depth of field and black and white on these, it helps you feel like you are in the 'zone' with them. They are really focused and it shows.
Thanks! My kids have had a camera in their faces since the moment they were born. Unless I specifically ask them to smile or something (usually that is like pulling teeth) they, for the most part, ignore me.
I like their sense of being completely into what they're doing. What the heck is the background in the third floor....it looks like straw? Do you store farm animals up there too, clucking and snorting along with the music? :-)
No straw... one wall in Eli's room is painted completely with chalkboard paint so the "chicken scratch" you see in the background is layers and layers of names and sayings scribbled in chalk all over the wall.

Fun Times! Handsome young men. Did they know you were taking pictures? I have trouble getting candids of the kids.
