Wow! I love the ripple picture. Did you toss something right before you took it? Or just happen to capture something making a ripple?

It's got beautiful color, and it is so interesting.

If I told you the ripple was manufactured, that would ruin the story....

Both Shots are wonderful. I can imagine a full story with each one. The colors on the Jonah picture are very cool. The strong strips of his shirt are repeated in the round rocks behind him.

Hmmm, true, true. I'll just appreciate the picture without knowing the whole story! 8-)

That first shot is lovely with the ripple (however it appeared!) and the reflection. I like the expression on Jonah's face!

Any chance of finding out where the first shot was taken? :D

I love the second shot though, it's full of texture, and Jonah's expression is wonderful.

Both pictures were taken at Peace Valley Park, on the north end of the lake. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound snotty or anything. The ripple picture made me think of a song, and the chorus is...
Ripple in still water,
When there is no pebble tossed,
Nor wind to blow.
So, the fact that Jonah was throwing rocks in the water kind of blew the connection to the song.

You weren't being snotty, in fact it's given me a new perspective to see a picture but know little about it - it makes you look at it closer to figure it out. BUT, I did ask because I couldn't figure out where it was taken! I thought maybe PVP, but it didn't look quite like it, so I was wrong :)

Do songs ever really perfectly match? Well, they do, but seldom. I'm always bending them too. And, like Jonah, I always throw rocks when I'm at PVP, mostly I try to skip them, like I learned from my dad...at PVP ;)
