The personal blog of Jeff Reeder of Jeff Reeder Photography. Sometimes I post personal photos and other times I post my favorites from recent professional shoots.
This is towards the bottom of the basement steps. I am really the only one that ever goes down there, so it has been kind of an experiment. It has probably sat there for about 6 years. I think this was probably one of Josiah's shoes. It is a size 2 or 3... he now wears an 11. It really kind of reminds me of older.... somewhat forgotten memories. When you try to pull them from your brain, they are not so visible, maybe covered with cobwebs, but you have a vision to try to grab a hold of, and try to remember it in detail.

I think we have the match to that sitting somewhere in the mudroom!
this one is great. it feels like twin peaks. not that twin peaks is the official measure of greatness, but, you know, it kind of is.
Kind of creepy, whoever put the shoe there I'm sure had no idea it would sit so long, how much time passed....?

Great textures with and beautiful shadows and light. Love it.
