LIVING ART

My posts have been far from every day. I hope to catch up some day, because I have definitely been shooting every day. I have just been BUSY! One thing I have been busy with is teaching. My 5th - 8th graders (including two of my kids) have been working so hard the past few weeks to recreate 6 famous paintings. Today we got to finish up a few of them. See if anything looks familiar to you. These are my shots, but the kids did all of the painting dressing, makeup, etc. They also photographed them, but I snuck these in between their shots.......

So much fun, Jeff! Wish I was still in school and could take a class like this.

Wonderful! We are doing something similar with LS and Integrated Arts for an end of the year thing...this def. gave me some ideas to add to what we are doing...we have 3 kids dressing up as Georgia O'Keeffe, Many Ray and Aaaron Douglas - great job!

American Gothic, The Scream (did they ever get it back?) and Van Gogh. These are incredible! I love what you are teaching. What a fabulous class it must be!
